9 year old Aliahna Marie Maroney Lemmon was reported "last seen" at about 10am on 12/23/11 and reported missing late that evening. Her dismembered body was found 12/26/11 and the "trusted family friend" who was watching her and her sisters for a week "while Mom had the flu" was arrested. He confessed to murdering Aliahna during the early hours of December 22, 2011. At sentencing 6/18/12 he received life + 36 years in prison, avoiding the death penalty.
