9 year old Elizabeth Olten was murdered October 21, 2009 by a 15 year old neighbor girl. Why? To see how it felt. The murderer is being charged as an adult. Jan 10, 2012 she accepted a plea agreement. In exchange for pleading guilty to 2nd degree murder (when this is clearly a premeditated 1st degree murder) she will receive a more lenient sentence.
