7-year old Jorelys Ivette Galarza Rivera was last seen Friday 12/2/11 leaving the neighborhood playground, headed home. Her body was found 12/5/11 in the apartment complex dumpster compactor. She had been raped, stabbed and beaten to death. Her murderer was a maintenance worker at the complex. The 20-year old was arrested 12/7/11 and entered a guilty plea 1/17/12 for which he was sentenced to LWOP. Two days later, 1/19/12, he killed himself in prison.
