Juliette was beaten to death July 11, 2008. Her killers remained free for 4-1/2 years because of prosecutorial ineptitude and apathy. In 2011, the case got a fresh look through investigative reporting. In 2012, with nothing developing, Juliette's paternal Aunt and volunteers petition for a grand jury. With over 1700 signatures, the petition is filed 7/11/12, exactly four years after Juliette's murder. On January 14, 2013, indictments were handed down against 2 of the 3 adults who lived with the twin girls. Unfortunately, charges against the mother were thrown out April 4, 2013.
