Venus Stewart was last seen 4/26/10. Her estranged husband Doug Stewart is charged with her murder even though she has not been found. His trial began 2/23/11, went to the jury 3/10/11. With just over 3 hours of deliberation, the jury returned a guilty verdict 3/11/11 on both charges: First-Degree Premeditated Murder and Conspiracy to Commit First-Degree Premeditated Murder. His accomplice, Ricky Spencer, was sentenced 7/22/11 and will spend one year in county jail.
